Returns and Warranty


At Mount Bikes, we back the products we sell and follow the guarantees set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a product you purchase is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under New Zealand consumer law.

If you change your mind about a purchase, we may offer a return or exchange at our discretion, provided the item is unused, in original condition, and returned within 14 days. In all cases, proof of purchase is required.

All bikes and components we sell are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, with coverage and timeframes varying depending on the brand and product. This warranty applies to manufacturing defects, but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.

To make a claim, simply bring the item into the store or get in touch with us directly. We’ll assess the product and work with you to resolve the issue fairly and as quickly as possible.
